Anchor Boys
WEDNESDAY 6:30 - 7:30pm
The Anchor section is for boys aged 6-8 years.
The uniform is red sweatshirt, blue polo shirt, dark trousers and black shoes.
We introduced an Anchor Boy section into our company in 1977. Originally known as the Pre-Junior Section and nicknamed the Robins they have been known as Anchor Boys (after the Boys' Brigade logo, the anchor) since 1980. Since the formation it has proved very successful. Many boys move up into the Junior Section each year.
At present our Anchor Section has 21 boys on the role with a high percentage attending the meetings and monthly church parade.

The boys enjoy a variety of activities and many gain the Anchor Achievement badge and certificate.

Regular activities include craft work, cookery, bible stories, football, uni-hoc and a variety of team games.
