Section Victorious in Quiz - (Monday 29th October)
We took two teams to the Junior Section Battalion Quiz Competition and came away as champions. Fourteen teams entered the competition, held at the headquarters of the 55th Manchester Company in Salford and all fifty boys had a brilliant night. There were eighty questions covering a range of topics including sport, TV and bible knowledge followed by a picture quiz. Our younger team put in a very respectable performance finishing in 10th position but it was the older boys with a score of 68 points that claimed the new trophy for the 3rd Trafford. The Bob Swan Quiz Trophy was presented for the first time, in honour of the former Boys' Brigade Officer and quiz organiser who died earlier this year. Well done to all the boys who took part.

Anchor Boy day out - Gullivers' World - 30th June
Eighteen boys and six officers enjoyed a fun day at Gullivers' World in Warrington. The boys spent the day on the rides whilst the officers watched. We enjoy it more that way!
